How to create light effects in camera

The light effects in the above image have been done completely in camera, no Photoshop. Creating beautiful light blurs is actually pretty easy, if you know how. While certainly those effects amongst a lot of other creative things can be—and are often—done in Photoshop post work, you can also create astonishing light blurs, light leaks, and lens artifacts right away directly in your camera, while you are shooting. All you need is just a little skill and will to experiment, and break the common rules of clean photography.
